Product Description

Handcrafted wooden wall clock In Māori mythology, Tiki is the first man, created by either Tūmatauenga or Tāne. He found the first woman, Marikoriko, in a pond; she seduced him and he became the father of Hine-kau-ataata. By extension, a tiki is a huge or small wooden or stone carving in humanoid form, despite the fact that it is a rather archaic usage within the Māori language. Carvings very similar to tikis and coming to represent deified ancestors are found in most Polynesian cultures. They steadily serve to mark the boundaries of sacred or significant sites. (c) wiki Wood: baltic birch Coating: acrylic paints, varnish, wood stain Size: 17×29 cm *AA battery isn’t included **the clock hands can somewhat differ from those at the pics
